‘Every year there is one show at the Edinburgh Fringe that catches fire – one showered in critical acclaim, garlanded with awards, and becomes impossible for the average punter to see. In 2022, it was Haley McGee’s solo show Age Is A Feeling.’ - The Evening Standard, interview

About the Show

Inspired by hospices, mystics and trips to the cemetery, Age is a Feeling wrestles with our endless chances to change course while we’re alive. A covert rallying cry against cynicism and regret. A call to seize our time.

This never-the-same-twice show is a gripping story about how our relationship with mortality shapes the way we live.

Charting the seminal moments, rites of passage and turning points in an adult life - your life - from the day you turn 25 through to your death, Age is a Feeling celebrates the glorious and melancholy unknowability of human life.

Age is a Feeling premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe 2022, produced by Soho Theatre, selling out its entire run and winning a Fringe First Award. This was followed by runs at Soho Theatre in London, 6-24 September 2022, and 14 February - 11 March 2023.
