…Let me introduce you!

Titilola Dawudu is a Nigerian-born British writer, producer and editor. She is a trustee for Theatre Centre and an associate Writer for Beyond Face Theatre. She holds an MA in Dramatic Writing at Central Saint Martins.

As an associate with Tamasha Theatre, she co-created and edited Hear Me Now, Audition Monologues for Actors of Colour, published by Oberon Books.

Her work has been performed at Theatre Royal Plymouth, Theatre Royal Arojah, Nigeria, Soho, the Bush, and the Arcola, with a recent commission with Theatre Peckham.

She won The Student Guide to Playwriting Award for her play Down Hair, and her monologue Old Me/New is featured in The Student Guide to Playwriting.  

As a mentor, Titilola was on the University Women in the Arts programme and the Leaders of Tomorrow programme. She won Mentor of the Year at the Women of the Future awards in December 2018.

Her most recent work featured monologues from her book 'Hear Me Now', and was presented at Theatre503’s Love Sex Identity Ambition Festival, in collaboration with 6 directors, 6 hosts and 24 actors all of African Caribbean and South Asian heritage. The festival explored the need for more varied stories about Black and South Asian women.
